Dimension Films Takes Vampire Thriller Garden District

Dimension Films announced today that it has acquired the rights to the vampire thriller Garden District , written by Anthony Jaswinski ( Vanishing on 7th Street ) and Luke Goltz ( You and I ).

In the film, a trio of young, ambitious myth-debunkers head to New Orleans after a mysterious video of a vampire�s execution goes viral to find out if the video was real or fake. They soon find themselves up against dark forces and in over their heads.

�This film reminds me of the early days of Dimension,� said Bob Weinstein, co-chairman of The Weinstein Company. �We look forward to making 'Garden District' as terrifying in theaters as it is on the page.�
